Courtyard by Marriott Phoenix Downtown

This hotel was great. I really don't have anything bad to say about it. Stayed in the courtyard Marriott on the 5th floor. There was an awesome bar restaurant on the 4th floor. Plus, you don't have to bring that many clothes with you if you're on business as there's on-site laundry facility on the fourth floor and it's pretty reasonably priced $2 to wash $2 to dry. Place was clean and eat and organized and they had a nice TV in the room and the AC was piping once I figured out how to work the thermostat You can't go wrong staying here and it's in an awesome location

I have to read the reviews, I was kind of skeptical about staying here. However, my stay here was quite nice. I don't need many services, like my room cleaned. I felt like I was solely responsible for, considering, I don't need anybody in my room snooping around. They may not serve complimentary breakfast, but they do serve complimentary coffee, in your room, to be made by you. Although the air conditioner is set by a timer, It does cool down pretty quickly. By the time you use the restroom, take your shoes off, take your bed down, and lay down. The room was cooled down significantly within a 5 to 10 minute window. No complaints here.

Stopped in here to spend the night when we were in town for a concert. The place was literally steps from the footprint center which is where our concert was. So if you're seeing a show at the footprint center this is a great location as it is a very easy walk from here to the venue and back. The rooms were clean and quiet, especially considering it's downtown location. I was only here for one night so I didn't use things like the gym or the pool, but I did take advantage of their well stacked on-site convenience store which I found extremely handy. I am considering other events in the area and would happily stay here again. I would suggest that it's convenient. Downtown location would also make it a great spot if you were in town for business. So this would be well worth considering as a great choice for a place to stay.

No parking. $45 per day for valet parking. The room is clean, with a kitchenette entry, so little useful room for bags and relaxing. Service overall was good, but overpriced laundry soap, broken and dirty washers, ruined a perfect score. Phoenix is trying to revitalize, but unfortunately this hotel (is it Courtyard or Residence Inn?) is on below the revitalized section and has some issues with homeless people hanging out on the streets in front, no restaurants or other activities available on the same block, except for the Chase Field 1 block over. Otherwise, the stay here was fine, but not a hotel I will seek out for my next stay in Phoenix. Also close to the airport rental car return.

Outstanding Service from Bethanie at Marriott Bethanie went absolutely above and beyond for me without hesitation! Even though my request was something she didn’t have to take care of, she did it anyway and truly made a significant impact on my experience. Her kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help reflect the highest level of customer service. Thank you, Bethanie, for going out of your way to make a difference. Marriott is truly lucky to have someone like you representing their brand and providing such exceptional service to guests.

Very centrally located in downtown Phoenix and lots of places walkable nearby. Didnt use valet because we walked mostly everywhere except to uber to and from hotel. We also utilized the waymo service once.It was a crazy busy Hondo rodeo weekend and they were still able to check us in early and have our room ready which worked out perfect. The staff is extremely welcoming and accommodating. Anytime we needed more towels, blankets, or anything we had timely responses. We used every inch out of our room and we were pretty comfortable except for it getting really warm in the room at night for some reason even with the AC all the way down. Water pressure in shower was perfect. Room was clean and beds comfortable. There's a little place to buy waters and snacks but we also doordashed late night food almost every night. Ice machine close to our room. We had a great weekend!

I have stayed here twice now, and I absolutely love how convenient it is to walk to the different venues to see concerts or sporting events. It's right next to the light rail, too, so we love to hop on and take a ride down to The Old Spaghetti Factory for dinner! Yum! Everyone I have encountered that works here, from the front desk to housekeeping, has always been very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were clean as well. I gave 4 stars because it's $45 a night for valet parking, unless you want to park your car in an open lot baking in the AZ summer sun, so I opted for valet in the parking garage. Also, some of our lights and outlets weren't working in our room, and the indoor pool is shallow so my kid said to give 4 stars for that. They do offer breakfast on the 2nd floor that you pay for, and have a little lounge area with dinner eats in the evening, we didn't utilize either so no comment on that. There is a CVS and different restaurants and shops all in walking distance, very convenient. Just left my car parked and walked or light railed everywhere during our stay. I already booked another night's stay for my next concert in a few weeks!
